Advent is Here!

We have finally reached the season of Advent in preparation for the coming of our Lord on Christmas. May we approach this Advent season with open hearts and spread the word of God to those who need to hear it the most. May we shine our lights so that others can see His light through us!

As Christmas draws near, it is not too difficult to become overwhelmed by the materialistic side of the approaching holiday. Stores are becoming busy and people are rushing around purchasing gifts and thinking of the things that they would like to have. While this can be quite exciting, it is vital to remember the true meaning of Advent and Christmas and to use this season to grow spiritually in hope, love, joy, and peace.

To aid you all in your spiritual growth this Advent season, we have included a link to an Advent calendar. This is a day by day calendar, in which you can open one day at a time. Each day includes a daily jolt and challenge to help you remember the importance of our faith throughout the season. Check it out!

May your preparations be blessed as you grow in hope, love, joy, and peace to welcome Jesus Christ into your life and the lives of others!
